Synopsis.                                                                                                                        All teenagers have problems, but few of them can match those of Aislinn, who has the power to see faeries. Quite understandably, she wishes that she could share her friends' obliviousness and tries hard to avoid these invisible intruders. Wicked Lovely and Ink Exchange author Melissa Marr delivers another little masterpiece of Urban Faery, that budding subgenre. In this ethereal romance, Aislinn has achieved the fragile eternity of the title; she has become an immortal faery, complicating both her life and that of Seth, the man who loves her.

My Review.
I had really high expectations for this book, having loved the previous one. In the third book of Melissa's series, Aislinn is having such a hard time distinguishing her true feelings from the ones caused my the faerie bound between her & Keenan. To me, Seth is still as perfect as he always was. We don't know that much about him, but his love for Ash is undeniable. While Ash is trying to conceal her two worlds, Seth realizes it's not possible and wants to enter her world, in order to do that, he'll have to become a faerie ... The plot unravels gradually - but quickly - and it's a good thing because we're already caught up in a love triangle (or rather, quadrangle?) and the war that might explode in Faerie. It's hard not to get lost in everything that's happening but thankfully Melissa did a good job at explaining things, so that we could keep up with the fast paced book. This book is definitely dark and entertaining. I wish Leslie was back in the story though, I still haven't read Radiant Shadows but I do hope she'll make a come back soon enough. She was my favorite character. Melissa is definitely an inspired/inspiring woman!

My Rating: ½
